Monday, August 10th, 2020: Colorado Springs Sky Sox right fielder Bernardo López rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Pacific Conference.
López put up a .400 batting average (10-25) with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 7 times.

Monday, August 10th, 2020: Nick Miller punched, poked and pummeled the baseball last week and today he garnered a majority of the votes for the American Conference Player of the Week award.
The Round Rock Express right fielder slashed out a .400 average with 12 hits in 30 at-bats, 5 home runs and 9 RBIs.
Miller is hitting .262 this year with 21 home runs and 60 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .331, 38 walks and scored 58 times. |

Saturday, August 8th, 2020: 31-year-old Fresno right fielder José Peña had a big day with the bat at Caps Ballpark today against the Round Rock Express. He went 5-for-6 and led the Grizzlies to a 12-9 triumph over them.
José Peña singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, struck out in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
Peña is currently hitting at a .465 pace with no home runs, 8 RBIs and has scored 5 times. |
