 | SL's #1 Hitter for 2020 Named
Saturday, July 4th, 2020: One of the Southern League's most coveted honors is the Outstanding Hitter Award. When the votes were tabulated, the 2020 recipient was the standout center fielder of the Indiana Hoosiers, Ricardo Esquivel.
He starred this season with a .352 batting average, 63 hits, 20 home runs, 61 RBIs, .454 OBP and 39 runs scored.

Saturday, July 4th, 2020: Murray Turner had the sweet swing of success this year in the Northern League and captured the Outstanding Hitter Award.
The Anteaters left fielder stung opposing pitchers with a .413 batting average, collecting 18 home runs, 6 doubles, 1 triple, 52 hits, 37 RBIs and scored 37 runs.

 | Southern League Best Pitcher Chosen
Friday, July 3rd, 2020: The Outstanding Pitcher Award for 2020 has been presented and the Southern League winner is Sakutaro Suzuki of North Carolina.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Suzuki. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Tar Heels star told reporters.
Suzuki excelled with an impressive 8-1 record in 12 starts. In 73.1 innings he yielded 51 hits and 27 walks, while striking out 112 and compiling a fine 2.09 ERA.
